4:00 p.m. TRACTOR SHOW Registration: Tractors that register will be on display off  M-43 down the path to Wm. Smith Park.

4:00 p.m. 12 a.m.  LAS VEGAS NIGHT Delton Memorial VFW Post 422.  No cover charge, food & beverages available. Open to the Public. 

 

5 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.   PIG ROAST rain or shine at Barry Twp. Hall.  Take-out will be available.  $6.00 per person.  $4.00 under 12.  4 yr. old and under free.  Sponsored by Goldsworthy’s Auto & Truck.

 

5 pm .  NEW- SCAVENGER HUNT –  Teams sign up at 5p.m.  at the Delton Fire Station to receive their list.   Teams must consist of 4 members only,  of any age.  Results time is 4 p.m. on Saturday at INFORMATION  BOOTH in the Arts and Crafts section.   Prizes given to the 1st place team.

 

5 pm. - 8 pm  NEW – PAINTED ART AFFAIR   - Visit with Delton merchants as they show various painted displays of local artists that will be up for Auction at 4 p.m. in front of the Upper Elementary.  Watch for the balloons marking each business. Sponsored by Delton Founders Weekend Committee.

 

6:30 p.m. – REGISTRATION  for  OUTDOOR BOWLING.   

North end of Scribner St.  Bowling  for all ages starts at 7:00 p.m.

 

 

7:00 p.m.  LEGENDS SPORTS PUB: KARAOKE IDOL.  1st round. 6 will advance to the Saturday night finale.  Contestants- bring 2-3 songs for both nights.  $20.00 entry fee with 100% payback to top winner.  Entry forms available at Legends Sports Pub – Deadline to enter is Aug. 7, 2010.

7:45 –8:25 a.m.  DKHS Student Council 5K RUN/WALK REGISTRATION:  $15.00 before Aug. 8th or $20.00 day of race, family rate $45.00. 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. THE TASTE OF HOMEMADE GOODNESS CONTEST.  Rain or Shine.  Barry Township Hall. Judging at 10:30 a.m. Categories: Pies, Cakes, Quick/ Fruit Breads, Cookies/Bars. Label all items.  One entry per category.  Prizes awarded.  Same day reg. at 9:00 a.m.
